“Will you teach me how to cry?” The French star mocks Argentine Di Maria

It seems that the atmosphere is still charged between the players of the French and Argentine national teams, despite the passage of more than 10 days since the end of the World Cup in Qatar.

The Argentine national team won the penalty shootout in the final of the tournament against its French counterpart, but the bickering and verbal exchanges are still continuing.

After the match, the former French national team player, Adel Rami, criticized the behavior of the Argentine national team goalkeeper, Emiliano Martinez, during and after the World Cup final match.

Then the Argentine national team striker and the Italian club Juventus, Angel Di Maria, entered the line to defend his fellow goalkeeper, Aston Villa English club, Martinez.

Di Maria replied to Rami, who won the World Cup with the French national team in 2018: “Martinez is the best goalkeeper in the world. Go cry somewhere else.”

And it seems that Rami, who is of Moroccan origin, was not happy with Di Maria’s statements, as he responded to the latter sarcastically, after he quoted a tweet with the aforementioned phrase and pictures of the Argentine crying on various occasions: “Will you teach me how to cry?”

Martinez starred with the Tango team in the final against France, where he saved the second penalty kick on Argentina’s way to a 4-2 victory after the end of the original and extra time 3-3.

Martinez, who dyed the Argentine flag on his hair, sparked several reactions and criticisms because of his provocative way before and after addressing penalty shootouts, and then after an act that many considered disgraceful with sexual overtones during his coronation of the best goalkeeper award in the tournament.
