Two people were killed in an Israeli strike near Damascus.. targeting Hezbollah sites

The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights reported the killing of two people who are believed to be working with the Lebanese Hezbollah, as a result of Israeli strikes near Damascus International Airport and the vicinity of Damascus.

The Observatory stated that the raids targeted at dawn today, Tuesday, a warehouse of weapons and logistical materials for the Lebanese Hezbollah, within a farm located between Sayyidah Zainab and Al-Jadaliyya, which led to its complete destruction, amid information about the presence of many dead people at the site.

He also indicated that Israel targeted, with at least four strikes, sites of Iranian militias in the vicinity of Damascus airport and farms in the Sayyidah Zeinab area in the Damascus countryside.

In turn, the regime’s news agency (SANA) announced that the Syrian air defenses repelled at dawn today, LIsraeli missiles in the sky of Damascus, and led to the injury of two soldiers and some material losses.

Al-Arabiya/Al-Hadath correspondent reported that the raids focused on the Sayyidah Zeinab area, south of Damascus, where factions loyal to Tehran and the Lebanese Hezbollah are active.

Al-Arabiya/Al-Hadath sources stated that the raids followed the arrival of an Iranian cargo plane at Damascus airport.

The sources also added that the Israeli raids targeted an Iranian air defense battery that was recently installed in the vicinity of the airport, as well as two sites of the Syrian regime.

Previous Israeli raids
