Love alone.. a Tunisian seller “got the feast” and put a cow in front of his shop

After customers insisted on him to provide milk, a Tunisian seller who owns a food store in the Karm area of ‚Äč‚ÄčTunis resorted to a fun way to get rid of orders.

The man brought a cow and tied it in front of his shop and wrote on it “Milking alone”, in an explicit invitation to every salt asking to buy milk until he himself tries to “milk the cow”.

As soon as the man’s video spread through social media, the seller’s behavior was praised by many Tunisians.

In turn, the seller confirmed that the idea came to his mind because of the sharp criticism he was exposed to with the loss of milk from his shop, explaining that people were blaming him even though the crisis is general.

He pointed out that some of the criticism amounted to insults, according to what was reported by local media.

Milk crisis in the country

It is noteworthy that the loss of milk in Tunisia sparked a state of discontent and resentment among citizens during the last period.

The seller’s behavior came as a reaction against the backdrop of the repeated demand for him and the continuous dissatisfaction of the people.

Tunisia is experiencing an economic crisis that is not easy, represented by inflation and high prices, which have made many commodities out of reach, most notably milk.

6 million Tunisians are below the poverty line

The annual inflation rate in Tunisia also recorded a series of record highs this year, as it touched 8.2% in June.

According to the authorities, the number of needy families increased from 310,000 in 2010 to more than 960,000 today.

While nearly 6 million Tunisians, or half of the population, live below the poverty line.
