A new report says Google searches for the word “ChatGPT” have skyrocketed globally, thanks to its ability to generate human-like responses.
Interestingly, China tops the list of countries where interest in searches has reached artificial intelligence tool Text-based to standard.

China ranks first with a score of 100 as of January 13, followed by Nepal at 35, while Norway ranks third with a score of 28, Singapore ranks fourth with a score of 27, India and the United States fail to make it into the top 10 countries that have a growing demand for ChatGPT.

Social media giant Tencent chose to remove ChatGPT-related software from the WeChat platform.
ChatGPT is not officially available in the country yet and the high demand in the country can be attributed to various factors such as users choosing to make use of Virtual Private Networks (VPNs).
ChatGPT limitations
Despite the success of ChatGPT, the AI chatbot developed by Microsoft-owned OpenAI, it has its limitations.
The main drawback is that its knowledge is limited until 2021, and the report said search engines have the upper hand over the ability to provide information in real time.
